Meet Rebekah Richin: Helping you feel more at home in your body and your relationships.
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (161608)
Supervised by Bob Northcutt, LMFT (#51430)
If you’re navigating a transition, feeling stuck in relationship patterns that no longer serve you, or struggling with intimacy or desire, especially while balancing ambition, responsibility, or a high-achieving lifestyle, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Television Arts from Elon University and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. My background in film influences my therapeutic lens, particularly my focus on storytelling and meaning-making—the ways the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, how we love, and what we’re allowed to want quietly become truths worth slowing down and examining. I am also a certified yoga instructor and Level 2 Intimacy Coordinator, training that informs my embodied approach to therapy.
I work with individuals and couples navigating life-phase transitions and relationship challenges, including identity shifts, changes in partnerships, difficulty communicating needs, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. I often support high-achievers, creatives, and entrepreneurs who are outwardly successful yet feel internally strained, lonely, or disconnected from their bodies or desires. Within this work, I have a particular interest in supporting clients around sex and intimacy, including differing levels of desire, healing one’s relationship with sex, and navigating shame, disconnection, or confusion around pleasure and closeness. I approach this work through a sex-positive lens.
Rebekah’s Approach
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and depth-oriented therapy, while remaining strength-based, relational, and affirming. Together, we will work at your pace to explore how attachment patterns, unconscious processes, and internal narratives shape the way you relate to yourself and others.
