Three ways to work with us
Weekly individual
50 minutes. Anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, the loop you can't shut off.
Therapy that fits Pasadena
Serious work, real pressure
Caltech, which manages NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, is the city's largest employer, and the office towers along South Lake Avenue and in Old Pasadena are full of founders and professionals. That pressure follows people home as a short fuse, a mind that won't switch off, or a partner who says you're home but somewhere else.
For couples
Couples usually call after the same argument has happened for the hundredth time, or after the arguing has stopped and something quieter has taken its place. We draw on the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, IFIO and Imago, and offer premarital counseling and intensives. See couples therapy in Los Angeles for our couples therapists and fees.
After the Eaton Fire
A year after the January 2025 fire, more than 80 percent of Altadena residents were still displaced, and the work of rebuilding is far from over. If that's part of what you're carrying, it belongs in the room too.
Privacy in a connected city
Many clients work at the same institutions as their neighbors. Sessions are confidential, we tell you up front about any professional or personal overlap, and video is always an option.

Do you have an office in Pasadena?
Yes. Our Pasadena office is at 150 S Los Robles Ave, Suite 850, in the Playhouse District, open Monday through Friday by appointment. Our main office is in Hermosa Beach, and all of our clinicians also offer telehealth anywhere in California.
How much does therapy cost?
Sessions with our associates start at $180, and fees across the practice range from $180 to $500. We're out-of-network and provide monthly superbills, and many Pasadena employers' PPO plans reimburse a portion. Every new client starts with a free 20-minute consultation.
Can we mix in-person and video sessions?
Yes. Rebekah, Chandra and Elizabeth see clients in person in Pasadena, and every clinician offers secure video anywhere in California. Many clients meet in person most weeks and switch to video for travel or busy seasons.
Do you offer couples therapy and intensives?
Yes. Weekly couples sessions run 50 minutes and draw on the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, IFIO and Imago. Couples working against a date or wanting more than weekly can book a couples intensive, several focused hours together.
Where do I park?
The office is on the eighth floor of 150 S Los Robles Ave, next to the Pasadena Hilton. Street parking and nearby garages are available, and the Metro A Line Del Mar station is about 0.6 miles away.
Do you work with people affected by the Eaton Fire?
Yes. Losing a home, a neighborhood or a sense of stability brings grief and stress that can surface months later. Our clinicians offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples and families, in person in Pasadena or by video.
